Airbender Tie-In Books Giveaway!

Last Airbender Film in association with Simon & Schuster publishing is very excited to announce that we will be holding a giveaway contest! Five lucky winners will receive one of the following Last Airbender movie tie-in books:

• The Last Airbender Movie Novelization by Michael Teitelbaum
• Trial By Fire by Micahel Teitelbaum
• Battle of the North by Brian James
• Avatar’s Return by Irene Kilpatrick
• Aang’s Destiny by Emily Sollinger

One ridiculously lucky grand prize winner will receive all five books!

There is however a catch. What you thought you’d get something for nothing? To enter the contest, shoot us an email describing your favorite Avatar: The Last Airbender thing. Anything! Your favorite character, place, story, bending element, music, merchandise, experience, whatever! You don’t have to write a novel, but the more amusing it is the better your chances. I will choose the six best entries, which will be published here at the conclusion of the contest.

REVIEW Spin Masters 3 3/4″ Aang & Deluxe Appa

As some may have noticed over the last week, the full Last Airbender toy line has begun to make its way into retail stores across the country, most notably Toys R Us. Produced by toymaker Spin Master, the line features five 3 3/4″ scale figures, deluxe Appa & Aang figures, and Aang’s Battle Staff  & Ultimate Airmaster roleplay toys.

Having managed to obtain a 3 3/4″ Aang and the deluxe Appa figure (retailing for $7.99 and $17.99 respectively), I must say Spin Master’s efforts are lackluster, if not wholly disappointing.

UGO recently unveiled a quartet of French Last Airbender one-sheets featuring Aang, Zuko, Katara, Sokka, Uncle, and BOOMERANG!

French entertainment site Allocine has also released the French theatrical trailer for The Last Airbender.

Paramount Pictures has released the final domestic theatrical poster for The Last Airbender via /Film. Is anybody else noticing a recurring theme here?
